This page is a list of common used words in the accoONE-DB framework.
Word | Explanation |
accoFramework | accoONE-DB is an implementation of Accobat’s framework. To understand why accoONE-DB has emerged, we must first understand what Accobat's framework is. Accobat's framework is a collection of rules, best practices, structures, and naming standards. All this to ensure that the solutions that Accobat delivers have a high quality, recognizability among consultants, and integrate the experiences gained from previous projects into the next. This framework has been developed through the knowledge that Accobat has built in the more than 19 years that we have delivered BI solutions. These solutions range from large Enterprise solutions to small on-premises solutions. Therefore, we are also sure that the framework creates scalable solutions. |
Consistency Checks | accoONE-DB has built-in automated consistency checking. This is based on the naming conventions and runs from the inside and out. This ensure that all entries in the fact table are referenced in the dimension. |
Schemas | accoONE-DB is bound to a set of SQL schemas. The name shows where in the dataflow it is used. See section 3.1 in the user manual for a list of schemes used by the framework. If you use SSMS it is advised to use "SSMS-Schema folder" extension. See git-hub for installation. |
